BE/B tech Eligibility Criteria 2021
- The BE/ B.Tech eligibility criteria for biotech/biomedical engineering requires the candidates to pass Biology at the qualifying examination and then appear for MHT-CET.
- For BE/ B.Tech in all other courses apart from biotech/biomedical engineering, candidates should have passed the class 12th exam of Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary and Secondary Education or CBSE exam or any other equivalent exam of a Board, Council or University outside of Maharashtra with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, English and Maths with a minimum of 45% marks for general category and minimum 40% for backward categories (from Maharashtra) in Physics, Maths and Chemistry together.

BE/B tech application process
- Candidates will need to register for MHT CET online on the official website. They will see the application under the MHT CET 2021 registration link
- They will have to fill in the application form with all personal details such as mobile number, email id and a password
- Applicants will need to upload a recent coloured passport size picture and signature in JPEG format only. The size of both documents should not exceed 50 KB. The name of both the documents should be photo.jpeg and sign.jpeg. The photo will have to be taken against a white background, and the sign should be on white paper using a black ink pen. Candidates will have to scan the signature in 200 dpi (dots per inch) scanner resolution settings.
- They will have to then download and print the MHT CET bank challan on an A4 size sheet on a single page. The payment has to be made through the bank challan from any SBI bank branch.
- Candidates will have to log in to the MHT CET 2021 registration link using their MHT CET 2021 registration number and password after 24 hours of making the payment and confirm if the bank transaction id number and date of payment have been updated. Then a print out of the registration confirmation page can be taken.
B.Arch Application Process
- To apply for B.Arch, candidates need to register on the NATA official website with a valid email. Appointments for the exam are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Candidates will have to fill in the form with all the required personal and educational details.

BE/B tech Selection Process 2021
The selection process for BE/B. Tech will involve appearing for MHT-CET 2021. The MHT-CET 2021 will have two question papers (Paper 1 and 3). Both papers will be of 100 marks each and will have a duration of one and a half hours. The questions will be multiple types and all questions will have to be answered.
- Paper 1 will have Physics and Chemistry questions. There will be 50 questions with 1 mark for every correct answer.
- Paper 3 will have Math questions. There will be 50 questions and 2 marks will be given n for every correct answer. No negative marking will be there.
B.Arch Selection Process 2021
Candidates will be selected for B.Arch admissions 2021 at Mumbai University on the basis of NATA 2021. It will be conducted by the Council of Architecture and candidates must score at least 40% in NATA to qualify for B.Arch admissions. NATA will have two parts, one is a paper-based drawing exam and the other one is a computer-based aesthetic sensitivity test.

For BE/B. Tech and B.Arch admissions at Mumbai University, counselling is done for the candidates seeking admission to both these courses. For BE/B. Tech admissions, Maharashtra will conduct MHT CET 2021 counselling in online mode for the candidates who qualify the entrance exam. To take part in the counselling process, candidates will have to fill the application form and after registration, candidates will have to fill in all their personal details, upload their picture and signature, pay the counselling fee and then finally report at the venue with the required documents. Candidates will also need to fill their choice of colleges and courses in order of their preference for seat allotment. Post the counselling process, the seat allotment will be conducted through a centralized allotment process (CAP). Candidates will be then given seats on a merit basis in the MHT CET exam, their course and college preference and it also depends on the number of seats available.
For B.Arch admissions at Mumbai University, COA doesn’t conduct NATA counselling. Candidates will have to apply in the institute of their choice among the participating institutes on the basis of their NATA scores for B.Arch admissions. To participate in the NATA counselling, candidates will have to score minimum cut-off marks in two individual components and also in aggregate. The candidate also needs to meet all the other eligibility criteria pertaining to the particular institute. Since, there is no centralized counselling, the counselling processes followed by the institutes vary.
