National Sanskrit University UG Admission 2025 through CUET Application process

The students who will qualifiy the CUET 2025 entrance examination must check for all the possible opportunities to be part of National Sanskrit University. Step 1: The students need to visit the official website of the National Sanskrit University at https://nsktucuet.samarth.edu.in/ for online registration.

Step 2: The students who are not registered must click on ‘New Registration’ on the home page of the official website. Those who are already registered can login directly by entering the registered email id and password. 

Step 3: The first time user opting for ‘New Registration’ will be redirected to a new tab and students will be able to do their registration online. 

Step 4: Register by entering their CUET application number and date of birth as mentioned in class Xth mark sheet. All other required details such as Name, Age, Gender, Father’s and Mother’s Name, Email Id and Mobile number must be filled correctly. 

Step 5: The students will be able login to the admission portal through their registered email address and mobile number only. It is advisable that the students must use their active email address throughout the process of admission.

Step 6: Fill the required information and submit all documents as per the given specifications on the website. The student must ensure that all the information furnished by them is correct as the same will be verified during the admission process. If any discrepancy is found in the application form, then their admission will be rejected by the concerned authorities.

Step 7: Pay the application fee in order to complete the registration process and submit the application form. 

Step 8: Students must take printouts of the submitted application form for any future reference.

Candidates for National Sanskrit University UG Admission 2025 through CUET must meet the CUET eligibility criteria 2025. Besides, the NSU has set its own course wise eligibility rules for the applicants. The following table of courses and their eligibility needs to be checked before applying for the test:

B.Sc. in Computers

  • Candidates must be qualified in the Prak-Sastri examination/ intermediate/ + 2 or an equivalent test

  • Must have passed the above-said examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Sastri (Equivalent to BA)

19 domains of Sastra including:

  • Sahitya

  • Vyakarana

  • Siddhanta Jyotisha

  • Mimasa

  • Dharmasastra

  • Sankhya Yoga

  • Phalitha Jyotisha

  • Puranetihasa

  • Rigvedabhashyam

  • Samaveda bhashyam

  • Atharvaveda bhashyam

  • Shukla Yajurveda bhashyam

  • Advaita Vedanta

  • Visistadvaita Vedanta

  • Krishan Yajurveda bhashyam

  • Nyaya

  • Agama

  • Vastu

  • Dvaita Vedanta

Candidates must be qualified in different exams equivalent to the (10+2) or ( 9+3) pattern. A few of the university prescribed examinations are mentioned below:

  • The prak-Sastri examination held at the Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi and National Sanskrit University, Tirupati.

  • Uttara Madhyama of Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi and Sampurnananda Sanskrit University located in Varanasi.

  • Varishtopadhyaya Examination of Rajasthan Board of Intermediate Education.  

  • Sahitya Examination of Karnataka

  • Madhyama Examination of the BHU ( Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi.

  • NIOS examination of both states and central

  • The following candidates are eligible:
    i.Candidates having studied Sanskrit or secured a diploma course in Sanskrit of NSU/ equivalent Sanskrit programme of other institutes

  •           ii. Candidates having qualified in intermediate/similar examination and studied Sanskrit as one of the subjects.

  •           iii. Candidates qualified in the equivalent programme without Sanskrit at 10+2 level and also passed the entrance exam            of NSU, Tirupati.

  • Candidates qualified in Upasastri held at the Shri Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri and Kameswar Singh Sanskrit University, Darbhanga

  • Eligibility for Sastri Vedabhashyam:

  1. Candidates who have completed Samhita and secured a certificate of a traditional institution/ Matham/ qualified Guru and possess Sanskrit knowledge are eligible for this course.

  2. Must pass the entrance test held by the University in Samhita on the scheduled date.

  3. The entrance examination board will be formed by the N.S. University

  4. Must pass intermediate/12th class.

B.A. ( Honours)

National Sanskrit University UG 2025 Admission Process

The admission process for National Sanskrit University UG Admission 2025 through CUET will begin after the CUET result gets declared.. All the CUET participating universities have been given the right to frame their own admission rules and regulations. The following information can be checked by the candidates to be considered for the admission to NSU:

  • Application forms has been released by the university on the official website.

  • The admission of the successful candidates will be done according to the existing admission rules, eligibility criteria, CUET 2025 score, merit, etc.

  • NSU will prepare and publish a merit list of the candidates based on their performance in CUET.

  • The selected candidates will be called for the interview.

  • The candidates must attend in person on the stipulated interview date and time.

  • The final admission will be then confirmed based on the candidates’ performance in the interview/ written test

  • Once the candidates get the admission offer, they must deposit the fees payable to the university.

  • If any candidate fails to submit the fees within the scheduled date, he/she will lose the chances of admission and the allocated seat will be transferred to the next candidate.

  • The candidates must bring the original documents along with the photocopies of the prescribed certificates and submit them at the university office during admission.

  • Provisional/ Original pass certificate of the previous qualifying examination.

  • Caste Certificate

  • Category Certificate

  • Income Certificate for OBC/SC/ST candidates

  • Passport Size Photos

Note: Candidates after getting enrolled at the university will not be allowed to seat in other university exams.
