NEET 2025 exam is likely to be conducted on May 4, 2025. Based on previous years' trends, it is noticed that NEET UG is conducted on the first Sunday of May. Hence, the NEET 2025 Exam Date is tentatively May 4, 2025 (Sunday). Any official notification regarding this is yet to be released. The registration process for NEET 2025 will start in February and end in March 2025.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the NEET UG every year in offline mode (pen and paper mode). However, the National Medical Commission (NMC) released the NEET 2025 syllabus before the application process began. Once the result is out, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the AIQ counselling for 15% of the seats, and other state counselling bodies supervise the 85% state quota seats for MBBS Courses.

NEET registration 2025 is administered online at neet.ntaonline.in. Notification regarding the registration process and dates will be released in the NEET 2025 information bulletin. Documents such as class 10 and class 12 mark sheets, passing certificates, valid ID proof, passport-size photograph, postcard-size photograph, left thumb impression, and scanned copy of signature will be uploaded during NEET 2025 registration. 

NEET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling out the application form, candidates must meet the NEET 2025 eligibility criteria. The following points summarize the requirements for NEET 2025:

  • Minimum Age Required:  Aspirants must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2025, to take the medical entrance exam.

  • Nationality: Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and Foreign Nationals are apply for NEET 2025.

  • Educational Qualifications:  Students who have passed or are appearing for the 10+2 or equivalent exam are eligible to apply for NEET-UG 2025.

  • Subjects Studied:  Applicants must have studied physics, chemistry, biology, and English at a recognized board.

  • Minimum Marks Required: Unreserved category candidates must secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. However, for SC, ST, and OBC-NCL candidates, the minimum required marks are 40%.

NEET 2025 Syllabus

NEET 2025 Result

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the NEET 2025 result in the second week of June 2025, a month after the exam is conducted. The NEET scorecard will be made available on the students' portal. However, a consolidated PDF will also be released, containing data such as NEET passing marks, the total number of qualifying candidates, the total number of students who appeared, category-wise data, the number of students who appeared in each language medium, and more.

NEET 2025 Cutoff

The NEET 2025 cutoff is likely to range between 720-135 for unreserved category students and 138-105 for reserved category students. The passing marks for NEET will be released by NTA in its result PDF, and the NEET admission cutoff will be provided by MCC for 15% AIQ seats and by other state counselling committees for 85% state quota seats.
