NEET PG 2024 Test Day Procedures

Candidates arriving at the exam centre may expect the following procedures to take place on the D-Day.

Social-distanced CBT

Keeping the current Covid-19 scenario in mind, NBE will be conducting the computer-based entrance test in a safe surrounding. All social distancing protocols are to be followed strictly within the premises. NBE has all the right to review the process of conduct of CBT on the test day in the wake of the pandemic.

Entry of Applicants

All candidates are to report at the exam centre as per the allotted time slots. To avoid crowding, the time slots have been given in a staggered manner. However, it is the sole responsibility of the candidate to report to the venue at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled time. The conducting authority will inform each candidate of the reporting time via SMS on the registered mobile number a day before the exam date. Also, keep in mind that the reporting counter will close 30 minutes prior to the exam start time. Applicants must therefore report early to get the verification and security check-in process started on time.

Further, NBE/Designated Agency/Test Centre/On-duty Staff shall not be liable for delayed reporting and/or non-presentation of important documents under any circumstances. Applicants who report late or beyond the allotted time shall not be permitted to take the exam under any circumstances.

Location of the Test Centre

The name and address of the allotted exam centre will be printed on the admit card. Applicants are advised to accustom themselves to the location at least a day before the exam day to avoid hassles at the last minute. Only those with valid admit cards and mandatory documents will be allowed inside the exam centre. You are requested to leave your accompanying family member/friends/relatives at the entry gate. No candidate will be allowed to contact their family members, friends or relatives during the examination.

QR/Barcode Reader at the Entry Gate

Candidates taking the exam will need to display their admit cards and ID proof to the exam functionary standing with a QR or barcode reader at the entry point for verification. Candidates will be informed of the assigned lab number at the gate.

Use of Thermo Guns

As per Covid-19 safety norms, candidates will be checked with a thermo gun at the main gate for fever and other symptoms of the Covid-19 infection. If the temperature rises above normal i.e. 94°C, or if the candidate exhibits Covid-19 symptoms, he/she will be allotted a separate lab room to sit for the examination.

Identity Checks

To restrict the entry of any unauthorized candidate, security will conduct identity checks at the test centre. Also, candidates found in possession of items/objects strictly prohibited inside the exam hall and/or using unfair means to get through the exams will be held liable for punishment.

Have a Sound Grasp of the Marking Scheme
