Types of NEET 2024 State Wise Merit List & Rank List

The merit list for NTA NEET comprises the following categories:

  1. NEET 2024 Merit List - All India Rank (AIR): This list enlists candidates' names along with their overall ranks, disregarding their category or stance on the AIQ reservation.

  2. NEET 2024 Merit List - All India Quota (15% AIQ): The AIQ merit list showcases candidates eligible for the 15% seats designated under the AIQ. However, this list does not include applicants from Jammu & Kashmir. Candidates from J&K who aspire to apply for All India Quota seats must submit a self-declaration form, duly signed. Subsequently, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will manage counselling based on the AIQ rank achieved by candidates.

  3. NEET 2024 Merit List – 85% State Quota: The State Quota merit list is compiled by respective state medical councils to allocate 85% seats to candidates hailing from the state. This allocation is determined by factors such as the candidate's eligibility and domicile status. It reflects a comparison of ranks attained by candidates within the same state.
