NIMCET 2025 - NIT MCA Common Entrance Exam 2025 will be conducted on June 8, 2025. Candidates can access the NIMCET application form 2025 from April 17 to May 16, 2025. Candidates who fill out the application form within the due date will be able to access the NIMCET 2025 Admit Card from May 29 to June 8, 2025. The result of NIMCET 2025 will be announced on June 27, 2025. After the results are released, the NIMCET Counselling 2025 will start from June 30, 2025.

NIT MCA Common Entrance Exam (NIMCET) is an entrance exam conducted to gain admission to the MCA program i.e. Master of Computer Application. Admission will be offered to MCA to the top institutes such as NIT Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Delhi, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Meghalaya, Patna, Raipur, Tiruchirapalli and Warangal and IIIT Bhopal and IIIT Vadodara for the year 2025. NIMCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

To apply for NIMCET 2025, it is very important to check the eligibility criteria of NIMCET 2025. The NIMCET 2025 eligibility criteria has been explained below.

  1. Applicants must be Indian citizens. 
  2. Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 60% marks in total or a 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or a 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale for SC/ST candidates) in BSc / BSc (Hons) / BCA / BIT of a minimum of three years full-time with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects from a recognized University. 
  3. SC/ST candidates must have achieved at least 55% marks in total or a 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale in BSc/BSc (Hons)/BCA/BIT of a minimum of 3 years full-time with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects from a recognized University. 
  4. Candidates with BE/B Tech or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University are eligible to take the exam. 
  5. Prospective candidates who will be taking the qualifying examination can also apply for NIMCET 2025. 
  6. Applicants who have obtained or will obtain a degree in three years BSc / BSc(Hons)/BCA/ BIT from Open Universities can also apply, provided their program is approved by UGC / AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of the Government of India. 

NIMCET 2025 Application Form

NIMCET application form 2025 has been released on April 17, 2025. Therefore, candidates who wish to register for the exam have to do it before the deadline. It is also advised to the candidates to fill out the application form after checking the NIMCET 2025 eligibility criteria. The last date for filling out the NIMCET 2025 application form is May 16, 2025. The entire NIMCET 2025 Application Form Filling Process includes registration, filling out the detailed online form, uploading scanned images of photos and signatures, and paying the NIMCET 2025 application fees within the due date. Candidates are not required to send the printout of their NIMCET 2025 Application Form to the authorities but should keep it safe until the completion of the NIMCET 2025 counselling and admission process. After the form filling process, the authorities will open the NIMCET Application Form Correction 2025 for the candidates who have entered the wrong details by mistake or want to change any details. NIMCET 2025 Admit Card

The NIMCET 2025 Admit Card will be released from May 29 to June 8, 2025. The candidates can check online and download the same from the official website. Admit card of NIMCET 2025 will be available for the students and they can download the hall ticket using the application number and the password they have set.

All aspiring candidates are also advised to print out that after downloading the hall ticket and keep it for future reference until the admission process ends. It is important to carry and show the admit card at every step of the process like examination, counseling, and admission.

NIMCET 2025 Exam Pattern

The NIMCET 2025 exam pattern states that the exam is a computer based exam for 2 hours. The exam is divided into three parts where the first part deals with Mathematics (70 minutes), the second part deals with Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning (30 minutes), and the third part deals with Computer Awareness and General English (20 minutes). The total number of questions asked in NIMCET 2025 will be 120 where 50 questions will be asked in Mathematics, 40 from Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, 20 from Computer Awareness, and 10 from General English. It is to be noted that the exam will be conducted in English language only.

NIMCET 2025 Answer Key

The provisional answer key of NIMCET 2025 will be available for raising objections on the official website from June 10 to 12, 2025. The candidates can check the answer key of NIMCET 2025 in the online mode.

The authority releases the provisional answer key on its website. Moreover, the candidates can object to the NIMCET 2025 answer key in due time. Furthermore, to raise the objections, one has to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 500/- per question. After the objections are raised, the authority then releases a final answer key on its official website.

NIMCET 2025 Result

The NIMCET 2025 Result will be released on June 27, 2025. The candidate who will qualify for the NIMCET 2025 paper will receive an email related to the declaration of result/rank card containing the link to the website. 

The rank card will be awarded to the candidates who have satisfyingly qualified for the rank required in NIMCET 2025. The candidates will be called for counseling process according to the rank they have obtained in the NIMCET 2025 entrance exam.

NIMCET 2025 Counseling

The NIMCET 2025 counseling process will be held from June 30, 2025 through the online mode. The counseling procedure will include registration and fee payment, choice filling and locking, seat allocation, document verification, and physical reporting of candidates at allotted institutes. The NIMCET 2025 counseling process is conducted for the candidates who have successfully cleared the NIMCET entrance exam and fulfilled the eligibility criteria to allot a seat and lock the institute.
