Once it is assured that you meet the required eligibility criteria, you will be able to complete the TN M.Sc Nursing application process 2024. All application forms can be availed online mode at the official website of the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University. Here is the important information you need to follow in order to complete the application process for TN M.Sc Nursing admissions 2024.
The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University requires that its applicants obtain the application forms on the official website and fill the required details correctly and completely.
Each candidate will only be allowed to submit one application form and any mistakes may lead to the rejection of the application forms.
All applications are to be submitted in hardcopy, therefore, it is important for applicants to download the application form, fill the required field, attach the necessary documents along with a Demand Draft for the payment of the application fee.
Along with the application form, candidates are to affix recently clicked passport-size photographs.
Note: All candidates are advised to send in their application forms with the necessary documents, photographs and the DD before the last date for submission of the same. Any application forms received by the University later to the date specified by TNMGRMU shall be rejected thereto.

TN M.Sc Nursing Important Documents 2024
As mentioned above, candidates are to submit the necessary documents along with the application forms and the DD. As per the guidelines stated by the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, candidates are to submit self-attested photocopies of the following documents required for TN M.Sc Nursing admissions 2024.
B.Sc Nursing Degree or Certificate or passing certificate procured from the university to which the respective candidate’s Graduating college is affiliated.
B.Sc Nursing Mark Sheets issued by the respective university.
Copy of Acknowledgement of registration of the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council. Or Tamil Nadu Nursing Council and Midwifery Council Permanent / Provisional Registration of Diploma / B.Sc Nursing / P.B. B.Sc Nursing.
Copy of valid Community Certificate from a competent authority
Certificate of Date of Birth or equivalent certificates such as H.Sc Certificate, School Leaving Certificate, College Leaving Certificate, Extract from Service Register.
For Candidates who completed B.Sc Nursing from a university apart from Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, an Eligibility Certificate issued by Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University.
Attempt Certificate in Final Year B.Sc Nursing course from the respective college or University.
Certificate proving one-year experience after provisional registration from a Hospital, Nursing College, School of Nursing or Community Health Centres.
Certificate of Nativity, if applicable with documents to support the same.

TN M.Sc Nursing Selection Process 2024
After the application forms have been received by the University, the TN M.Sc Nursing selection process 2024 will commence its operations. Following the deadline for the last date of submission of application forms, the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University will release the merit lists for the purpose of conducting the counselling sessions. Admission offers will be granted to students based on these merit lists and the colleges and courses selected under the counselling sessions.
Tamil Nadu M.Sc Nursing Counselling Process 2024
The candidates will be shortlisted for the Tamil Nadu M.Sc counselling processes by calculating their merit using their past academic and professional records. In other words, the aggregate scores obtained at the UG level along with the years of experience will determine the merit of the candidates. Based on these parameters, candidates will be ranked in merit lists, which will then be used for the purpose of calling the shortlisted candidates counselling rounds, which will be conducted in rounds.
As per the admission guidelines, the counselling sessions will be conducted as follows:
Once the merit lists have been released, candidates will be called for counselling processes, which will be conducted in batches.
Candidates will be asked to select the options available to them based on their ranks and the vacant seats.
It is to be noted that the options selected during the counselling processes will be final and no changes will be entertained afterwards, under any circumstances.
If the candidate is unsatisfied with the option that has been given to them, reallotment or speciality and colleges will be done in the 2nd round of counselling. Candidates will again be allowed to select the course and college during the 2nd phase of counselling. All decisions made during this phase will be considered final and no changes further on will be entertained.
Once confirmed, candidates will be asked to submit a declaration stating that if any suppression of information is found out, he/she is liable to be disqualified or have their admissions to the course be cancelled.
Candidates also hold the right to appoint a representative in place of them if, due to unforeseen circumstances, the candidate is unable to attend the counselling session on the stipulated date and time. In such cases, undertaking and authority letter of allotment in the specified format shall be carried along with the representative.
Candidates who are absent during the first phase of counselling will not be allowed to sit for any further selection processes and their application for admission will further be cancelled.
All candidates who are appearing personally for the counselling process shall bring forth all the original documents proving their eligibility for admissions
Note: All candidates appearing for the counselling session, are required to pay a processing fee of ₹500 via DD, drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai - 10”. At the same time, those selected for admission through the counselling processes will be required to pay the tuition fee as outlined by the university via DD. The fee is non-refundable in nature, even if the candidate discontinues or does not join the course.
