What are the Evaluation Criteria for UCEED Drawing Questions?

The UCEED drawing questions in Part B typically provide you with one or two tasks to draw. Although such tasks can be to create static life images and observe objects, these are often less formulaic in the type of questions that request more interpretive or observational drawings. Although your technical skills are important, it is not the only concern. The examiners are looking for a range of things, including:

• Observation Skills: To what extent are you able to see and draw in detail what happened in the scene, including an object or a view? Are you able to render proper proportions and keep in mind the relationship between the individual elements?
• Composition: Where do you place various elements on the page? Your drawing looks balanced and aesthetically pleasing.

UCEED Drawing Questions 2021

From the following description draw the scene as if you are sitting in the room. It is an airy drawing room. It is 9 o'clock in the morning with the sun shining through the window on the East, casting shadows on the floor. A cat is sleeping on one of the sunlit patches. There is a newspaper kept aside a cup of hot tea on a side table. There are three newly watered potted plants in the room; one on the floor, and two on the window sill, all with the watering jug lying next to it.

Determine a street scene teeming with a market. Use the perspective and use it to make your drawing a more realistic one. Add important elements such as shops, street vendors, shoppers, or even a moving vehicle.

Determine an interesting angle from which you will draw a bicycle. Emphasize the details about mechanical features. The proportions and details of the bicycle need to be clear.
