Seats Matrix for Admission through UCEED 2025
The seat matrix for UCEED 2025 will be made available by IIT Bombay soon on its official website, uceed.iitb.ac.in. It is expected to increase by 225 seats this time. The number of seats last year had gone up by 20 after the inclusion of IIT Roorkee in the list of participating IITs.
The UCEED seat matrix 2025 or the total number of seats that are offered under the UCEED 2025 is likely to be updated on its portal along with the notification posted by IIT Bombay on its official website, uceed.iitb.ac.in. As per sources, around 225 seats are expected to be made available for admissions. Last year, the UCEED seat allotment for BDes admissions in IITs was increased by 20, after the addition of IIT Roorkee to the list of UCEED-participating institutes. Seats will be allocated to the students in these institutes based on their performance in the UCEED 2025 entrance exam. UCEED 2025 Reservation Criteria for Seat Intake
If you are applying for UCEED admissions and fall under certain categories such as EWS, OBC, SC, or ST, you may be eligible for reserved seats. However, please note that only those castes and tribes that are included in the official central list of the Government of India are eligible for this benefit. This reservation is also subject to verification of your documents. IIT Bombay will allocate seats for Indian nationals based on government-prescribed rules for specific categories. The reservations are as follows:

Admission Process of UCEED 2025 Participating Institutes
Students who want to go into the BDes program among the participating institutes through UCEED 2025 must qualify for the entrance exam and attain a merit rank. The UCEED question paper consists of two parts - PART A and PART B. Candidates must also note that if they do not meet the cut-off marks for Part A, their Part B answer booklets will not be evaluated.
Only students who meet the cut-off marks will be given a merit rank and eligible for the counselling round. The seat allotment will be done based on the merit rank of the student.
