Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test (formerly known as UPSEE) will be conducted on September 5 & 6, 2021. The test will be conducted for the admission of candidates to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) and various other concerned universities in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates must ensure that they reach their UPCET 2021 Exam Centre on time as mentioned on the admit card and follow all of the instructions issued by the NTA while appearing for the exam. This article contains the exam-day checklist of what to carry and what not to carry to the UPCET 2021 examination centre. Candidates can take a look at some of the important instructions to keep in mind on the exam day.

UPCET 2021 Exam Day Checklist - What to Carry

Candidates must follow the instructions mentioned on the admit card and the invigilators' instructionsors at the examination centres. Given below are the important points that the candidate must keep in mind.

  •  All candidates will be required to carry a printout of their UPCET 2021 Admit Card to the examination centre. The admit card will be released 15 days before the exam date for all candidates who have successfully submitted their application form.

  • NTA will not send a physical copy of the UPCET 2021 Admit Card to any candidate. The admit card must be downloaded from the website and a printout of the same must be taken well in advance to avoid any delays on the exam day.

  • A duplicate UPCET 2021 Admit Card will not be issued to the candidate at the exam centre. Candidates must ensure that they preserve their admit cards in good condition even after the exam.

  • The candidate must affix a passport size photograph (same as that uploaded on the UPCET 2021 Application Form) on their admit cards and place their left-hand thumb impression on the space provided. The same will be verified at the exam centre.

  • Candidates must also carry one passport size photograph, same as the one uploaded in the application form, to the exam centre for passing in the attendance sheet.

  • Along with the admit card, the candidate must also carry an authorized photo ID in original to the exam centre. Given below is the list of photo ID proofs accepted with the UPCET 2021 Admit Card

    • Aadhar Card (with photo)

    • Aadhar Enrolment No.

    • Driving License

    • PAN Card

    • Passport

    • Voter ID

    • Ration Card or any other valid government-issued photo ID

  • Candidates claiming relaxation under the PwD category must carry their original PwD Certificate issued by an authorized medical officer.

  • Candidates must ensure that their name on the Photo ID exactly matches their name on the admit card. For candidates whose names have changed due to specified events, the following documents must be carried in original to the exam centre:

    • Marriage Certificate

    • Divorce Certificate

    • Legal Name Change Documentation

    • Decree etc.

  • Candidates should follow the reporting time mentioned on their admit card to avoid crowding and last-minute rush at the exam centre.

  • Candidates must reach the exam centre as per the date and time mentioned on the admit card. No candidate will be allowed to take the exam at any other time slot.

  • Only the candidate will be allowed entry inside the examination centre. Any other person accompanying the candidate will not be allowed to contact the candidate while the examination is being conducted.

  • The invigilator will ascertain the identity of the candidate and place their signature on the attendance sheet.

  • A fixed seat and computer will be allotted to each candidate at the exam centre. Candidates must only sit on their allotted seat else their candidature will be cancelled.

  • 5 brought sheets will be placed at the seat of each candidate. Candidates must use only the provided sheets for doing all of their calculations and writing. The rough sheets must be dropped in the Rough Papers drop box at the exam centre.

  • Candidates will be issued a fresh face mask at the exam centre, which must be worn at all times inside the centre. Candidates will be allowed to carry a 50 ml container of hand sanitiser for their personal use inside the exam centre.

  • Diabetic students can carry eatables such as fruits, sugar tablets and a transparent water bottle in the exam hall. However, packaged items such as sandwiches, candies, chocolates etc. will not be allowed.

UPCET 2021 Exam Day Checklist - What Not to Carry

There are a number of items that are barred from the UPCET 2021 exam centre. Check the important points given below on what not to carry.

  • Candidates must not carry any document other than the ones specified above.

  • Given below is a list of items barred from the UPCET 2021 exam centre:

    • Any stationery item including pens, pencil box, eraser, textual material, bits of paper, scale, writing pad etc.

    • Any electronic item or communication device such as calculators, pen drives, mobile phones, Bluetooth headsets, earphones, camera etc.

    • Items such as wallet, handbags, belts, caps, goggles, watch, bracelet etc. will also not be allowed inside the exam hall.

    • Any kind of food items either opened or unopened.

    • Any kind of ornaments or metallic objects.

    • Any item that can be used to hide communication devices for unfair means.

  • Candidates will undergo strict frisking before they enter the exam centre and they will have to leave any prohibited item outside the centre. There will not be any arrangement for the safekeeping of any personal belongings and the candidate must make sufficient arrangement themselves.

  • Candidates carrying metallic objects such as Kara, Kirpan etc. have been asked to report at least 1 hour 30 minutes before the gate closing time to allow sufficient time for frisking. If a candidate is carrying any suspected device within their Kara and Kirpan, they will be asked to not take it inside the exam centre.

  • If a candidate is found in possession of any of the barred items inside the examination centre, it will be considered as use of unfair means and action will be taken against the candidate.

No, pen and any scrap or extra piece of paper will not be allowed inside the UPCET exam centre. Both of these will be provided to you in the exam hall.
