Step 1: Online UPTAC Counselling Registration 2024, Document Uploading and Fee Payment

• Candidates must complete their registration on the official website uptac.admissions.nic.in using their UPTAC 2024 application number and password. 
• Once registered, candidates must make a non-refundable payment of INR 1000 online, using a debit/credit card or net banking. 
• After that, they should upload the necessary documents in the correct format.

Step 2: Document Verification of Uploaded Documents Online 

Candidates are required to upload all necessary documents containing their academic and personal details in the specified size format. Once this is completed, the candidate will receive an SMS/Email on their registered number and email address. The Central Document Verification Team will review these documents for all candidates who have applied in each round. After the verification process, candidates will be able to select their preferred institutions and branches based on their eligibility and marks.

Step 3: Online UPTAC 2024 Choice Filing

The choice filling is done by the verified candidates in online mode where they have to fill in the choices of the colleges in order of their preference. Hence candidates are advised to candidates that they must be aware of the colleges available and the courses that are provided there. The courses should be chosen in such a way that the chances of getting admission are high.

Step 4: UPCET Seat Allotment 2024

Candidates will receive a seat in their chosen program through the UPCET 2024 Seat Allotment Process based on their institution choices, courses, merit list, and seat availability. Candidates can view their seat allotment results on their dashboard by logging in with their credentials.

Step 5: UPTAC Counselling Seat Acceptance by Payment of Fees (Freeze/Float RI and R2, Auto Freeze R3)

Upon receiving an allotment to the institution and their respective course, candidates must choose one of three options to confirm their seat allotment: Freeze, Float, and Withdrawal.

• Freeze Option: Candidates will have the choice to secure their allocated seat if they are content with the decision.
• Float Option: Candidates can retain the allocated seat and request an upgrade to the next level in this scenario.
• Withdrawal Option: If candidates are not satisfied with the allocated seat, they can relinquish the seat and opt out of further participation in the UPCET Counselling 2024 process.

To confirm their seat allocation, candidates will be required to pay the UPTAC 2024 seat acceptance fees. If they fail to do so, they will be excluded from the UPCET 2024 Counselling process and will not be considered for further counseling.
