In situations where two or more students achieve the same marks in the Uttarakhand NEET Merit List 2024, the governing board has established specific rules as tie-breaking criteria. These rules are as follows:

• First, priority will be given to students with the highest marks in the biology section, thereby granting them preference over others.
• If the tie persists, candidates with the highest marks in the chemistry section will be given preference.
• If the tie still persists, candidates with the lowest negative marks will be favored for a higher rank.
• In the event that the tie continues to persist, preference will be given to candidates who are older in age.
