Founded in 1996, WLCI has been conducting the WLCI Aptitude Test which is also referred to as the WLCI AICET (All India Combined Entrance Test). The test is used to assess the applicant's ability, with admissions being granted based on their test performance. What differentiates this test from the rest is that it does not have a specific date for all tests—students are left to choose a day that they prefer best.

The WLCI Aptitude Test 2024 announcement is expected to be out soon. WLCI Aptitude Test 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Provided below are the course-wise eligibility criteria for the WLCI Aptitude Test 2024. Make sure to satisfy it before applying for the entrance test.

Undergraduate Programmes at WLCI:

To pursue an undergraduate programme from WLCI the following criteria must be met:

Candidates must have completed a 10+2 level examination from a recognized State/ Central board of education.

OR

Aspirants must have qualified GCE or General Certificate Education examination (London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at the International Baccalaureate (IB)/ Advanced (A) level.

OR

Applicants must have cleared any Public School/ University/ Board Exam in India or abroad. The exam must be recognised as equivalent to the 10+2 system by AIU or the Association of Indian Universities.

OR

Candidates must have acquired a passing grade in the SSC exam held by the National Open School with at least 5 subjects.

OR

The aspirant must be a holder of at least a 3 or 4-year-long Diploma that is recognised by the State Board of Technical Education or AICTE.

Note: Candidates still appearing for the qualifying examination are free to apply for WLCI AICET 2024, given that they produce all the required documents at the time of counselling or admission.

Postgraduate Programmes at WLCI:

Applicants must have completed an undergraduate-level degree in any discipline/ stream from any institute/ university/ college recognised in India.

OR

Candidates must possess an Advanced Diploma in Mass Communication/ Advertising and Graphic Design/ Fashion Technology from WLCI.

OR

Candidates must possess a Diploma of a minimum duration of 3 years in Mass Communication/ Advertising and Graphic Design/ Fashion Technology from any other college/ institution.

WLCI Aptitude Test 2024 Application Process

Follow the steps outlined below to apply for the WLCI Aptitude Test for a smooth application process:

• Online Registration: Open the official website of the WLCI Institute and fill in the account.
• Access the Application Form: Once registered, through the login details of your account, open the application form.
• Provide Necessary Information: Carefully fill in your personal and academic details to ensure all the information is accurate.
• Upload Your Photo: You can upload your current photograph in JPEG format not more than 500 KB. All is done.
• Payment Step: After filling up all the details, you can click on saving details followed by the option to proceed to the payment via credit card, debit card, net banking, or demand draft (DD).
• Print Copy: Finally, take the print of the filled application form.

WLCI Aptitude Test 2024 Exam Pattern

The aptitude test of WLCI 2024 is a written exam that is divided into two parts: Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT). Based on their performance in the aforementioned rounds, students are shortlisted for a personal interview. Elaborated below are the weightage for the same:

The GAT round consists of questions from Quantitative Ability, Analytical Ability, Communication Ability and GK & Current AffaiINR The exam pattern followed by the GAT round of the WLCI Aptitude Test is as follows:

In the CAT round of WLCI AICET 2022, the creative, innovative and illustration skills of the candidates are assessed while in the personal interview round, applicants are evaluated based on their communication, aptness for the course, career orientation, aptitude, general awareness, creative & lateral thinking and co-curricular and academic achievements.

WLCI Aptitude Test 2024 Admit Card

WLCI will soon announce the admit card for the Aptitude Test, which is posted directly to the candidate's registered e-mail ID. Besides the same candidates can download their admit card from the website of WLCI by accessing their account by the time line notified. Please note that no physical copy of the admit card will be mailed. The candidates must report to the examination centre with their WLCI Aptitude Test admit card. The admission card contains the student's name, photograph, roll number, venue of the exam, and test timings. No student will be allowed to enter the examination hall without this card.

WLCI Aptitude Test 2024 Result

WLCI, i.e. the conducting body of the WLCI Aptitude Test, sends the result of the exam to the registered e-mail id of the candidate. Aspirants can also download it by visiting the official website of WLCI and entering their registered email ID and date of birth.

Those who qualify for the WLCI Aptitude Test are invited to appear for a personal interview round. The better the performance of an individual in the GAT & WAT rounds of WLCI AICET, the higher his/ her chances of getting shortlisted for the further stages of admission. 

What is the WLCI Admission Process 2024?

The interview is a thorough examination that helps determine whether the candidate is a good fit for the chosen course. This evaluation examines writing abilities, psychomotor skills, and overall visual presentation in addition to creative talent as demonstrated by a portfolio. The evaluation of the person also takes into account their demeanour, personal hygiene, and communication skills. To obtain a more comprehensive knowledge of the candidate's skills, the results of the Creative Aptitude Test and the portfolio will be discussed below.
