With an objective to educate underprivileged children, a 17-year old resident of Gurgaon is raising money from a mobile application. Ranvijay Singh, a resident of South City 1, has developed a game named ‘Rope Dash’. It is a mobile based adventurous game. The application is available on both iOS and Android systems. Through the money earned from the application, he buys books and stationery for the children living in the slums.

He said that he used to observe the children wasting their time by playing in streets. He used to educate the children in his free time along with his friends. However, he thought that books and stationery are essential for the effective learning. So, he thought of an idea to develop a gaming application.

The gaming application was launched in July. The game consists of various levels where the players have to cross different hurdles by swinging on a rope. The game is available in both trail, and paid version and hundreds of people downloaded the app. The earnings from the app are used for the sake of poor children. He mentioned that he had received 25% of investments. He thanked his teachers and parents for their motivation and support.
