1,87,200 candidates would appear in the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) examination to be conducted on April 17. According to the coordinator, all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the proper conduct of the examinations. He added that the results would be declared on May 30.
The UPSEE examinations conducted by the Abdul Kalam Technical University(AKTU) help candidates to gain entrance to various technical universities affiliated with the university. “The examinations will see a total of 129 centres in the state and eight cities which include Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bhopal, Jaipur, Patna and Ranchi. There will be 21 centres in Lucknow city. We are having two centres in Delhi keeping in view the number of candidates,” he said.
The exam coordinator said that the examination for the BTech courses will take place from 10 am to 1pm and the examination for the B Arch courses will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The coordinator pointed out that the examinations would be held online for candidates who wanted a lateral entry in the B Tech courses. “For these candidates who want to make a lateral entry in the B Tech courses, the examinations will be held on April 23 and 24,” said Narayan.
According to UPSEE coordinator they had made several arrangements to facilitate students and they have not any queries from students regarding facing any problem in downloading the admit cards.
