2 Days to go for NEET PG 2022: Students still Uncertain about Postponement, Check New Developments

NEET PG is all set to be held on May 21, 2022. However, students are under a lot of stress. Why? This is mainly because even after the SC ordered that the postponement of the exam will not take place, uncertainties are popping up from different sectors. Since the SC has put the onus regarding the postponement of the NEET PG 2022 exam on the Union Government, several organisations have come forward to request the Central Government and the Union Health Ministry to take a look at the plight of the NEET PG 2022 aspirants and postpone the examination so that a healthy atmosphere can be achieved for the conduction of a fruitful examination.
Latest Developments on NEET PG 2022 Postponement
After the AIMSA and several Members of Parliament wrote to the Union Health Minister Shri Mansukh Mandviya for the postponement of the NEET PG exam this year, the latest organisation to petition the Union Government for the postponement of the examination is the ABVP. A delegation of the ABVP met the Honourable Minister of Health and Family Welfare Shri Mansukh Mandviya to discuss the issue of postponement once again. Six pertinent points were discussed in his presence and in front of other prominent health officials. A new salient point regarding the reopening of the link for the application form fill up for at least one day so that the students who had missed out on filling out the form and did not get any allotted seats in the NEET PG 2021 counselling could appear for NEET PG 2022 too.

National convener of MeDeVision, Dr. Virendra Solanki has assured the thousands of students whom he is in contact with that their demands will be met and a “student-friendly solution” will be found.
National General Secretary of ABVP, Nidhi Tripathi is optimistic about the outcome of the delegation. She feels that the points raised have enough weightage and might tilt the scales in favour of postponing the exam.
