If the latest report is to be believed, close to 200 students of Delhi University’s B.Com programme have failed in their final year examinations. Students enrolled in the programme alleged that they had been 'failed for not scoring 40% marks in the practical test of Computer Applications'.

After consulting with the DU Students’ Union, the students had written a letter regarding the same to the DU Administration. Gurpreet Tuteja, Deputy Dean of Students’ Welfare said that the letter was forwarded to the Dean of Examinations Vinay Gupta for consideration.

The issue will be addressed by the Examination Control office of the university and decision regarding the same will be taken after considering all the reasons behind the failure of students.

The students added that their mark sheets of the fifth semester say that they have passed in the practical exams. However, the final semester mark sheet shows that they have failed. The final mark sheet was released on June 25, 2017.
