The last date for submission of AIIMS MBBS application form for MBBS courses at All India Institute of Medical Science is on February 23, 2017.
The last date of submission of application form for MBBS course at All India Institute of Medical is Thursday, February 23, 2017. Admission to AIIMS will be on the basis of AIIMS MBBS 2017 exam, which is scheduled to be held on May 28, 2017. Aspiring candidates can apply for the examination at the official website of the AIIMS.
The institute conducts two annual entrance examinations for admission to its seven medical institutes.The exam will be a computer based and will be held in two shifts:
- 9 a.m to 12.30 p.m and
- 3 p.m to 6.30 p.m
The minimum age qualification for appearing in the examination is 17 years. The applicants have to clear their 12th examination with average 60 percent marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as the main subjects. Candidates who have appeared for their 12th examination can also apply.

How to Apply for AIIMS MBBS Examination 2017:
- Login to the official website of AIIMS institute and go to the exams section
- Click on ‘Academic courses’
- Press on MBBS under the undergraduate section
- Proceed to AIMS MBBS-2017
- Fill up all the details and follow the instructions properly
There are seven AIIMS institutes in India. They are AIIMS New Delhi, AIIMS Patna (Bihar), AIIMS Bhubaneswar (Odisha), AIIMS Jodhpur (Rajasthan), AIIMS Raipur (Chhattisgarh) AIIMS Rishikesh (Uttarakhand) and AIIMS Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).

Exam Pattern for AIIMS MBBS Exam 2017:
There will be 200 Objective Type Questions comprising of multiple choice questions & Reason-Assertion questions in 1 paper. Questions will be based out of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & General Knowledge from Class 12 syllabus and the exam duration is 3 hours and 30 minutes (3.5 hrs). The question paper break-up is as follows:

Marking Pattern of AIIMS MBBS Exam 2017:
- For every correct answer: 1 mark
- For every incorrect answer: -1/3 (minus one third)
- No marking for unanswered questions
- Multiple responses for one question will result in negative marking
