253 Gujarat PG Medical and Dental Seats Remain Vacant
- 253 PG medical and dental seats remained vacant after the second round seat allocation process in Gujarat.
- The final round admission process will take place on May 10 and May 11, 2018.
After the conclusion of the second round of counselling for the admission to PG medical and dental courses in Gujarat, 253 seats remain unfilled. May 09, 2018, was the last day to confirm admission for these courses by the candidates who secured a seat in the second round seat allotment. The Admission Committee for Professional Post Graduate Medical Education Courses revealed that 2,520 students bagged eligibility for 1,456 medical seats in the state. Similarly, 398 students competed for 210 PG dental seats in Gujarat through NEET PG scores.

For the 253 vacant seats in medical and dental courses across Gujarat, final round (third) of counselling will be conducted on May 10 and May 11, 2018. Out f 253 vacant seats, 72 are PG dental seats, 57 are clinical seats and the rest are non-clinical seats. Over 1,958 students have given consent to take part in the offline counselling process that is scheduled to be held on May 10, 2018. The admission process for PG dental courses will take place on Friday, May 11, 2018.

The candidates who secure admission in the final round will have to deposit the fee for the first semester in the form of a Cheque or DD (Demand Draft). The admissions of only these candidates will be treated confirmed by the admission committee. This year, there was a major reshuffling in the seat allocation process as per the order of Gujarat High Court (HC).
