30 Nursing Students Graduate from the College of Nursing, Army Hospital, New Delhi
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Lt. Gen. S.D Duhan, Commandant Army Hospital (R&R). He stressed that the students should not only enhance their knowledge but also learn soft skills.
The 3rd batch of B.Sc Nursing students of College of Nursing, Army Hospital celebrated the Lamp Lighting Ceremony in a grand manner on November 9, 2016. On this occasion, 30 nursing students adorned themselves in their new pattern of uniform which revealed that the new outfit would make a change in these young minds and make them more confident to excel in their field and will take the nursing profession to greater heights.

The Chief Guest of the occasion was Lt Gen SD Duhan, Commandant Army Hospital (R&R). He stressed that the students should not only enhance their knowledge but also learn the techniques of soft skills. On this occasion, he awarded prizes to meritorious students. The ceremony was held in an impressive manner where the lit lamp was passed to Maj Gen Sushila Shahi, Additional DGMNS to Principal of Matron Army Hospital (R&R), Maj Gen Elizabeth John who in turn passed it to teachers and students indicating the passing of knowledge and soft skills from one generation to the next.
The Chief Guest also emphasized that one needs to pass his knowledge to others. Learning does not mean gaining knowledge. The gained knowledge must be used in a proper way, and one should pass on his knowledge and soft skills to others which would enable the development of society.
