35% B.Tech Seats in Private Universities of AP to be Filled through AP EAMCET (EAPCET) 2021 Counselling
AP EAMCET (EAPCET) 2021 counselling is likely to begin on October 25. This year 35% of seats in B.Tech courses of private universities shall be filled under the convener quota of AP EAMCET counselling.
AP EAMCET 2021 counselling notification has been released on October 21. This year, 35% of B.Tech seats in various private universities of Andhra Pradesh shall be filled under the convener quota of AP EAMCET 2021 counselling. These universities have already sent a tentative fee structure, and APSCHE is most likely to approve the fee structure under the convener quota by the last week of October 2021. These universities will be included in the web options. So far, private universities have been filling all the seats as per their own admission procedures.

The online registration for AP EAMCET 2021 counselling will begin on October 25. The officials of APSCHE have decided to take up the seat allotment process only after the conclusion of Round 1 & 2 seat allotment process of JoSAA 2021. Last year, many students who secured a seat in Round 1 counselling of AP EAMCET cancelled their admission after getting a seat in NIT/ IIIT/ GFTI. In order to avoid this problem, APSCHE will wait until the conclusion of the second round of JoSAA to process the seat allotment through AP EAMCET.

The officials of APSCHE discussed with the Education Minister of Andhra Pradesh with regard to the counselling schedule and guidelines. A discussion has also been made on the 35% convener quota in private universities. The Round 1 seat allotment of AP EAMCET 2021 counselling will be released on November 10.
