4.47 Lakh OBC category Candidates Clear NEET 2022, Dominate Pass Percentage
4.47 lakh OBC students have qualified for the NEET UG 2022 exam. Compared to 2021, the passing percentage of the OBC candidates have been increased sharply. Read below.
Lakhs of students got relieved with the result announcement of the much-awaited NEET 2022 exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the NEET 2022 result in the online mode, neet.nta.nic.in. This year, a total of 56.27% of students passed the NEET exam 2022. A total of 9,93,069 candidates have qualified out of 18,72,343 students in NEET 2022 exam. 4,47,753 OBC students qualified for this year's NEET 2022 exam. Whereas the passing percentage of the OBC category candidate in the NEET 2021 exam was 3,96,772. This is clearly evident that the passing percentage of OBC category candidates in 2022 is higher compared to 2021.

NEET 2022 cutoff for the OBC category candidates has been decreased to 116-93, which was higher in 2021. The NEET cutoff range in 2021 was 137-108. A total of 74458 students have secured this cutoff range in 2022. This might be the reason for increasing the passing percentage of the OBC category candidates in 2022 compared to 2021.
