Good Rank Analysis for 490 Marks in NEET 2024
A score of 490 marks can be categorized as a low score since no admission for the General, OBC, EWS, and SC categories can be obtained in this range. Furthermore, the ST MBBS admissions are also likely to close around 490 marks. But ST candidates can still expect to secure admission to MBBS courses to government medical colleges as the cutoff rank for ST MBBS admission last year was around AIR 1,40,000.
At state-level counselling, SC and ST candidates may still expect BDS and MBBS admissions respectively but the same for the remaining three categories is also highly unlikely. A score above 600 marks can only be considered as a safe score for these categories.
