50% Civil Services Candidates Yet to Download UPSC Prelims Admit Card
- More than half of the UPSC aspirants haven't yet downloaded the UPSC Prelims admit card which is scheduled to be held on 3rd June 2018.
- UPSC Prelims is mandatory to clear to be eligible for UPSC Main exam.
Nearly 50 percent of the UPSC aspirants are yet to download Civil Services Prelims Admit Card. The UPSC preliminary exam 2018 is scheduled to take place on 3 June 2018. Aspirants who have not yet downloaded their e-admit cards are advised to do the same at earliest to avoid any last minute confusion.
UPSC aspirants should note that the examination centers will be closed 10 minutes before the commencement of the UPSC examination. The schedule time for the examination is 09.20 am for the morning session and 02:20 pm for the afternoon session. Therefore, the candidates are requested to report at the exam center as per the scheduled time. Also, no candidate shall be allowed to enter the examination venue after the scheduled time and they will not be allowed to appear for the UPSC exam venue except the one mentioned in the e-admit card.

UPSC preliminary examination is a screening test and it is mandatory to qualify the same to be eligible for UPSC Main Exam. The paper consists of objective-type questions. For every wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of 0.83. Paper 2 (Civil Services Aptitude Test) will not have any negative marking. Candidates are required to appear for both papers in UPSC prelims.
