60% of Seats Allotted for AP and TS Students in DSLU
This year there is no reservation for 40% of seata as they are alloted to NRI's. The total intake have been reduced from 140to 120 seats
Damodaram Sanjivayya Law University in a press note stated that 60% of seats for B.A LLB Course in the University are allotted to the students of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The admissions are being conducted in accordance with Andhra Pradesh Educational institutional Act, 1974. However, the University has amended the number of seats allotted this year. Last year, there were 140 seats for the course and this year, it has been reduced to 120.
Out of 120 seats, 60 seats are allotted to the students of Andhra and Telangana who have qualified in the Common Law Entrance Test. Already the University has started allotting seats for the students who have applied online.
Out of remaining 60 seats, 40 seats are allotted to the students of all India level. However, reservation is not applicable for these seats. 10% of seats are reserved/allotted for NRI or foreign students.
The classes for the senior students will commence from 07-July-2016 and for the first year students, the classes will commence from 11-July-2016.
