Acharya Institute Conducts Workshop on Overseas Education for PG Students

In November 2017, the Department of Training and Placements conducted an important workshop themed around ‘Promoting Overseas Education and Career Opportunities’ at Acharya Institute, Bangalore. The major objective of the workshop was to make students aware of growing opportunities abroad. The workshop was organised exclusively for postgraduate students in order to build a positive, dynamic, complex and challenging environment.

The workshop was organised under the dynamic guidance of Ms. Yasmin Sait, a popular international business educationalist. She is also the Managing Director of Education Consult Inc. She plays a vital role in advising the students on visa and immigration. Ms. Yasmin conducts various workshops, seminars and training programmes for students and academicians and has wide experience in public and government sectors. PG students of M.A Economics, M.A English, M.Sc Physics, M.Com, MIB and MFA participated in the workshop.

The workshop that took place at Acharya Institute focused on job opportunities, career pathways, course choices and streamlined processes for studying, working and living in sustainable economies like Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
During the workshop, Ms. Yasmin interacted with Indian and international students while focusing mainly on immigration problems. She gave details about the exchange programmes that students can opt for at a minimal cost, particularly in countries like Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Middle East countries.
In November 2017, Acharya Institute also organised industrial visits, educational visits and media visits for the students of different streams.
