Admission Notice - All India Post graduate Dental (MDS) Course Entrance Examination – 2016

Applications are invited in the prescribed form through online mode only for All India Post-Graduate Dental (MDS)Entrance Examination - 2016 for admission against 50% All India Quota in various Postgraduate (MDS) courses in Dental Colleges in the country. The All India Post-Graduate Dental Entrance Examination (AIPGDEE) will be conducted on December 13. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi will be conducting this exam online for admissions to post graduate courses. Candidates who have completed their BDS course have applied for the AIPGDEE exam for MDS course under 50 percent all India quota.

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria: (1) Only Indian nationals possessing BDS degree from a recognized Dental College or a foreign degree included in the schedules of the Indian Dental Council Act, 1956 and full registration either from the Dental Council of India or State Dental Council after completing compulsory rotating internship (2) Should complete the required period of 12 months pre-registration internship from a recognized Hospital on or before 31st March, 2016.

Application Procedure

A candidate can submit application only through online mode by visiting www. aiimsexams.org. Read the Prospectus, Help Manual and other details carefully and follow the instructions given therein. The candidate can pay the application fee through a Debit/Credit Card/Internet Banking.

Exam Pattern

The exam will be held for a duration of three hours. The exam will be conducted in a single session from 10 am to 1 pm. The online question booklet of AIPGDEE2016 will have 200 multiple choice questions with single correct response. For each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
