Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU), Pune invites applications for admission to Master of Science (M.Sc) program in Biotechnology, Medical Biotechnology and Bioinformatics at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Information Technology and Biotechnology for the session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for

M.Sc. Biotechnology Program: Candidate should have passed B.Sc from any recognised university or its equivalent examination in any of the subjects, Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Agriculture/ Life Sciences/ Chemistry/Zoology/ Botany with minimum 50% marks in the respective subjects. (45% in case of SC/ ST).

M.Sc Medical Biotechnology Program: The candidate should have passed B.Sc. from any recognised university or its equivalent examination in any of the subjects, Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Microbiology/Botany/ Chemistry/Pharmacy/Medicine including homeopathy and Ayurveda/ Veterinary science with minimum 50% (45% in case of SC/ ST) aggregate marks in graduation.

M.Sc. Bioinformatics Program: The candidate should have passed B.Sc. bachelor’s degree in any discipline of science & technology with minimum 50% (45% in case of SC/ ST) aggregate marks from any recognised university.

How to Apply-

Completed application form must be accompanied by MBT-2016 fee of Rs. 1250/-. Application form should be submitted either in person (in which case the fee can be paid by cash) or mailed (in which case, the fee should be paid by Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Pune, in favour of The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune to "The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, CET Dept. 2nd Floor, Bharati Vidyapeeth Bhavan, LBS Marg, Pune 411 030."

Selection Procedure-

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the All India Entrance Test (MBT-2016) conducted by the university.
