Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT), Pantnagar invites applications for admission to Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Agri, Home Science, Food Technology, Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH), Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc), Master of Computer Application (MCA), Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs for the session 2016.
Eligibility-
Candidate from other states may apply for admission to MCA, M.Tech and Ph.D programs only.
The Wards of Kashmiri Migrants and J & K residents may apply for admission to undergraduate programs only.

Candidates can apply online from Tuesday, February 16, 2016.
Application Fee-
For General and OBC: Rs. 1200/-
For SC/ST/PH: Rs. 600/-
Selection Procedure-
All admissions in the University shall be made strictly on merit as determined on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Competitive Entrance Examination to be conducted by the University, except the following:
Admissions to MCA program shall be made on the basis of separate Entrance Examination to be conducted by the University.
Admissions to master’s program in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology shall be made through the entrance examination conducted by J.N.U., New Delhi.
For M.Tech. programs, admission shall be made first based on the qualified GATE qualifying marks in the subject (major) in which admission is sought. Vacant seats shall be filled based on OGPA/percentage (%) of marks of B.Tech.
Important Dates-
Online filing of application form for UG, masters, MCA and Ph.D programs: Tuesday, February 16, 2016 to Thursday, March 31, 2016.
Online filing of application form for M.Tech program: Tuesday, February 16, 2016 to Saturday, April 30, 2016.
Date of enrance exam-
For Ph.D/masters/MCA programs: Saturday, June 04, 2016.
For UG programs: Sunday, June 05, 2016.
