Admission Notice- IIT Kharagpur Announces Admissions to L.L.B (Hons) and LL.M

Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur has started with its application process for admissions to 3 years full-time residential Bachelor of Law (LL.B) honours program in Intellectual Property Law and LLM program at Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law (RGSOIPL) for the session 2019.

The application fee for both L.L.B. (Hons.) and LL.M at IIT Kharagpur is Rs.2500 for general category students and Rs.1250 for reserved category candidates.

IIT KharagpurLL.B. (Hons) in Intellectual Property Law Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates should have a first class bachelor's degree in the field of Technology/Engineering/Medicine.
• An equivalent first-class master's degree in Science/Pharmacy/or first class MBA degree holder students can also apply.

IIT Kharagpur LL.M Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on the scale 10.
• Candidates with a degree from RGSOIPL with 8.5 CGPA are eligible for direct admission.

IIT Kharagpur L.L.B (Hons.) and LL.M Courses Application Process:

• The application forms for both L.L.B (Hons.) and LL.M courses are available on the official website.

• SC/ST candidates are required to submit supporting documents as a proof along with the application form.

• After the submission of the application form candidates can take a print out of the same for future reference.

IIT Kharagpur L.L.B (Hons.) and LL.M Courses Important Dates:

Last date for submission of application form: 15th March 2019

Entrance Examination: 20th April 2019 ( 10 am to 12 noon)

Personal Interview: 20th April (2 pm to 5 pm) and 21st April 2019 (10 am onwards)

Candidates are requested to carry a hard copy of the admit card along with one photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/ Driving License etc.
