Admission Notice – MGIMS Wardha Invites Applications for MD/MS Programs- 2016

Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), Wardha Invites applications for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) programs for the academic session 2016.

Eligibility Criteria-

A candidate must be an Indian national.

Candidate should possess MBBS degree and should have completed one year compulsory rotatory internship. First preference will be given to a candidate who possesses MBBS degree from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.

Candidate must have permanent registration with the State Medical Council / MCI.

Candidate must have done two years of rural service on or before 31st December 2015. However, those who have done minimum of one year rural service on or before 31st December, 2015 are also eligible.

Students can download the application form and apply online.

The print out/ hard copy of the filled in application, complete in all respects, accompanied with all the relevant documents and fee of Rs.2000/- in cash or a demand draft drawn in favour of “Dean, MGIMS, Sevagram” should be sent to “Office of Dean, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram-442102, Wardha (Dist), Maharashtra”.

Selection Procedure-

Admissions will be made based on the merit list.

The merit list will be determined by adding up the marks obtained at first professional, second professional and final professional (part I & part II) MBBS examination along with the actual marks obtained in the subject in which the candidate has applied.
