Admission Notice - Nitte University NUPGET 2016 Examination Announced

Nitte University is going to conduct the Nitte University All India Entrance Test, NUPGET-2016 on 07-02-2016(Sunday) for candidates seeking admission to MD/MS and MDS courses in its constituent colleges, namely K.S. Hegde Medical Academy and A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, for the academic year 2016-17.

Eligibility Criteria

Only those candidates apply and appear for NPUGET 2016 exam that fulfill the following eligibility criteria: Candidates must fulfill all the requirements stipulated by MCI / DCI from time to time, Candidate should have passed MBBS/ BDS degree programme from an Institution recognized by MCI / DCI, Candidate must have completed or be completing his/ her internship by April 30, 2016, Candidate should have obtained permanent/provisional registration number with the MCI / DCI or any of the State Medical / Dental Council as well as that of Karnataka State, For General candidates there will be 50% minimum marks are required in NUPGET 2016, Candidates belong to SC, ST (All India) and OBC (only Karnataka State) require at least 40% marks in NUPGET 2016

Application Procedure

Open the university website and Apply Online, Enter your personal details, Fill your educational data, upload your scanned photograph and signature, Pay the application fee Rs. 3000/- Payment must be paid through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card, Specification For Photograph And Signature, Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture, Size of scanned photo must be 100 KB (Maximum), Dimensions of scanned photograph image should be 100 x 120 pixels, The size of signature file should be 100 KB (Maximum), Dimensions of signature image should be 160 x 70 pixels.

NUPGET 2016 Admit Card:

Candidate can download the admit card from January 25, 2016, after uploading it on the website. A SMS and an Email will be sent to the candidates to download the admit card.

Exam Pattern:

The medium of the entrance test will be English, Duration of the exam is 3 hours and there will be 200 objective type questions, for each correct answer 1 marks, there is no negative marking in the exam
