S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) is one of the premier business schools in the country. Since its inauguration in 1981 by the then British Prime Minister the Rt. Hon’able Margaret Thatcher, it has been consistently recognized as one of the top 10 business schools in India.
The PGDM application process of SPJIMR Mumbai Ends Today. The application process for PGDM 2016-18 started on September 21 and will conclude on December 9. The application forms are to be filled online only and can be accessed from the SPJIMR admissions portal.
SPJIMR'sPGDM is a two-year full time residential programme that is equivalent to an MBA and is noted for building value-based and socially sensitive leaders. The programme will admit a total of 240 participants. Additionally, 36 seats are available for PIOs, OCIs and foreign nationals.
Two choices in specialization
The candidates are required to opt for two specialisations at the time of filling the applications. Naming two options at this stage means the aspirants who are not shortlisted for the first option maybe considered for the second option. The outcome of the first option will have no bearing on the process for considering the applicant for the second option.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification:
The interested candidates are required to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (10 + 2 + 3) from a recognised university. Students in the final year of graduation can also apply. SPJIMR accepts CAT 2015, XAT 2016 or GMAT (test taken from January 2013 onwards to 30th December 2015) as well.
The applicants are sorted into two groups corresponding to two phases of interviews. Work experience is not mandatory for this programme. Fresh graduates and those with up to five years of work experience can apply. Final merit list is expected to be declared in March 2016.
