Admission Notice- Indore Announced Ph.D Programs 2015-16 IIT

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore invites applications for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in School of Engineering and inter-disciplinary research group on Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering (BSBE) for autumn semester of the academic year 2015-16.

Eligibility

For Ph.D. in inter-disciplinary research group on Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering (BSBE) Program: Candidates should have:

Minimum first class Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Biomedical/ Chemical/ Biotechnology / Signal Processing/ Aerospace Or

Minimum first class bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Biomedical/ Chemical/ Biotechnology/ Signal Processing/ Aerospace Engineering with a valid GATE qualification or UGC/CSIR-JRF or equivalent fellowship.

For Ph.D. in School of Engineering Program: Candidates should have:

Minimum first class master degree in the relevant discipline of the Engineering/Technology, Or

Minimum first class bachelor degree in the relevant Engineering/ Technology discipline from a

reputed Institute with a valid GATE score. Or

B.Tech degree from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with a minimum CPI of 8.0 OR

Minimum first class master degree in the relevant discipline of Science with valid GATE qualification or UGC/CSIR-JRF qualification or equivalent fellowship.

How to Apply

After submitting the application online, the eligible candidate has to bring the signed hard-copy of the application along with State Bank Collect receipt, recent photograph, Self- attested relevant Certificates, (for SW candidates: No Objection Certificate, Experience Certificate, last 3 months salary slip and Employer's PAN card) at the time of written test / interview.

Candidates can apply through the online of the Institute.

Selection Procedure

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are strongly encouraged to report for the written test and/or interview.

Date of written test and/or interview:

For Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering: Wednesday, December 09, 2015.

For Ph.D. in the inter-disciplinary research group on Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering (BSBE): Thursday, December 10, 2015.

For Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering: Friday, December 11, 2015, and Saturday, December 12, 2015.
