Admission Notice- Sikkim Manipal University Announces Admission to UG/PG/Diploma Courses 2016

Sikkim Manipal University has announced admissions to UG/PG/Diploma Courses 2016. The interested candidates have to appear for the SMU Entrance Exam. The various courses offered by the Sikkim Manipal University are B.Tech, B.Sc, MBBS, BDS, MBA, M.Tech, MS/MD, M.Sc, PG Diploma & PhD courses.

Eligibility Criteria:

B.Tech: 10+2/equivalent with 50% marks in PCM

Lateral B Tech: Diploma in appropriate branch or B.Sc with Mathematics, with 60% marks

BCA; B.Sc IT: 10+2/equivalent in any stream with 50% marks

MCA; M.Sc IT: Bachelor in any discipline with Maths/Statistics in 10+2 with 50% marks

BBA: 10+2 /equivalent with 50% marks in any stream

MBA: Bachelor in any discipline with 50% marks

M Tech: B.E/B.Tech in related branches of Engineering with 55% marks

M Tech: BE/B Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engg/ EC/EE/ Metallurgical/ Aerospace / Chemical Engg. OR M Sc Physics/Chemistry/ Material Science/ Electronic Science with 55% marks

MBBS: 10+2/equivalent with 50% marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC)- UGET1 conducted by SMU

MD/MS: MBBS with internship completion by 31st March 2016 - SMU-OET conducted by SMU, Sikkim

Integrated M.Sc Medical Biotech; B.Sc (Nursing); BPT: 10+2/equivalent with 45% marks in PCBE. Merit, based on marks in the qualifying examination

BMLT: 10+2/equivalent with 50% marks in PCB/M

M.Sc Nursing: B.Sc Nursing/Post Basic BSc Nursing with 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC)

Masters in Hospital Adm: Bachelor in any discipline with 50% marks

MPT: BPT with 50% marks

Age limit

Age of applicants should be at least 17 years as on 31st December 2016

Entrance Exam Fee

• Rs.1000/- for SMIT Offline Test (for B.Tech)/M.Tech/Lateral Entry
• Rs.750/- for BCA/MCA/MBA Programs
• Rs.2000/- for Online UGET1 (for MBA)

Entrance Exam fee not required for all other courses of SMU University. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of "Sikkim Manipal University" payable at Gangtok
