Admissions have been reopened to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) course in the International Management Institute (IMI) Delhi. The process will start from January 11th and the last date to fill the form is January 25th. The move has given another opportunity to the students who have scored well in CAT to apply. Also the move is a result of a popular demand among the students for the course and multiple requests made to the institute that is gearing up to receive its 2016-18 batches.
Prof. Manaswani Acharya, professor of marketing and dean-placements and corporate relations, IMI New Delhi said,” We intend to offer candidates who have scored well in the CAT examination an opportunity to apply for admission in IMI New Delhi, we also hope that this year, as the format was changed, it may enhance prospects of building diversity for students from arts and media backgrounds.”
The PGDM course offered by the institute is a two-year programme and is designed so as to prepare students for careers across functional areas of management. Candidates from diverse educational streams ranging from engineering, medicine, architecture, social sciences, economics and commerce enrol in the course that was introduced in 1993.
The application form for the course is available on the institute’s website and the institute accepts applications only online.
