The counseling for admissions at Vignan University was commenced on 11-May-2016. Vignan University had conducted an entrance exam called V-SAT on 27-April-2016. The results were released in the first week of May. Dean of Engineering and management of University has given the details regarding the counseling.
He said, “The counseling will continue till 18-May-2016. The counseling is being conducted for V-SAT rank holders, EAMCET and JEE’16 qualified candidates. On the first day around 1000 students attended counseling. On the first day the counseling was conducted for B.Tech, Agriculture, Food Technology, Automobile, Biomedical, Textile and Chemical courses. Web counseling was conducted for these candidates”.
On 12-May-2016, the counseling is being conducted for:-
- 1001 to 2000 Rankers of V-SAT
- 30,001 to 60,000 Rank holders of EAMCET
- For the students who secured marks between 50 to 69 in JEE
- For the students who secured 950+/1000 marks in the intermediate.
On 13-May-2016, the counseling will be conducted for:-
- 60,0001 to 80,000 Rank holders of EAMCET
- For the candidates who secured 50 below marks in JEE
- For the candidates who secured less than 950/1000 marks in Intermediate.
This year there has been a slight increase in the number of admissions of Vignan University. The counseling is being conducted from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
