Admission through XAT 2023: XAT selection process 2023 will vary from one programme to another. Now that the XAT result 2023 has been announced, the Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur will release the GD/PI shortlist for PGDM BM, PGDM HRM, and PGDM (GM) courses soon. Shortlisted candidates must take part in the selection process, which entails Group Discussion (GD) and/or Personal Interview (PI). Based on the candidates' performances during the entire XAT selection process, the final merit list will be created. Using their login credentials, applicants will be able to access the waitlist on the XAT official website, xatonline.in.
There is no centralized XAT selection process; rather, each XAT participating institute has its own unique selection process. Candidates who intend to participate in the XAT 2023 selection process must first register on the official website of the colleges they wish to apply to.

The XAT 2023 selection process encompasses the following stages:
Stage 1: XAT 2023 Result: On January 28, 2023, the XAT 2023 results has been accessible. The XAT score card includes the overall raw score, sectional raw score, overall percentile score, and sectional percentile score. Admission through XAT 2023 will be based on one’s percentile score and position on the XLRI merit list of shortlisted candidates.
Stage 2: Shortlisting of Candidates for XAT 2023 Selection Rounds: The first week of February 2023 will mark the beginning of the XAT 2023 shortlisting process, which will last till the last week of February 2023. XLRI and other B-schools will employ the XAT 2023 scores to shortlist candidates for the final selection process, which may involve the GD-PI-WAT, PI-WAT, or GD-PI. The minimum sectional and overall cut-offs for the XAT 2023 exam will be determined by the XLRI and other B-schools at the time of shortlisting.
Stage 3: Participation in GD-PI-WAT Rounds: The XAT 2023 final selection process for admission to the XLRI PGDM programmes is conducted for all shortlisted students. Between the middle of February and the beginning of March 2023, candidates for the PGDM (BM), PGDM (HRM), and PGDM (GM) will have to go through a Personal Interview round in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, and Jamshedpur.
Stage 4: Release of Final Admission Offer: Receiving an admission offer from XLRI, IMT, SPJIMR, XIMB or another prestigious B-school marks the completion of the XAT admission process for 2023. The applicant's composite score for the XLRI-XAT selection list is calculated by combining the applicant's academic background, XAT 2023 scores, professional experience, and performance in the PI round. The session will begin in April or mid-June 2023, and the final admissions list will be made available by XLRI in the months of February and April 2023.

Note: In general, candidates must hold a recognised bachelor's degree of at least three years duration in any discipline. They should also have at least five years of managerial/supervisory experience by March 31, 2023.
