Status for AIBE XIV Disqualified Candidates, Missing Set-Codes and Cancelled Test Centres Released
A notification has been released regarding the status of AIBE XIV disqualified candidates, cancelled test centres, and missing set codes. Find the details and status of the disqualified candidates of AIBE XIV here.
The department of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) released a notification on May 15, 2020 regarding candidates who had appeared for AIBE XIV and were disqualified, had missing set codes or their test centre was cancelled. The notification clearly described what the candidates of each of these categories will have to do further.
The registrations of AIBE 2020 are ongoing and had begun from May 16, 2020 and candidates can fill the forms till August 2, 2020. The AIBE Department has announced the status of AIBE 14 right now so that candidates can register for the upcoming examination and appear for it after knowing their status of AIBE 14. Status for Candidates who Appeared at 'Cancelled Test Centres'
Nine test centres of AIBE XIV were cancelled including cities like Allahabad (five centres), Jabalpur, Bhopal, and Visakhapatnam. The results of the candidates who had appeared at these centres were withheld. As per the recent notification released, these candidates will be issued admit cards for AIBE XV (AIBE 2020) without having to make a fresh registration. When the admit card of AIBE XV will be released, these candidates whose results of AIBE XIV were withheld due to the cancellation of test centres will be able to download their new admit cards for AIBE XV using their AIBE XIV registration number and date of birth.
Status for AIBE XIV Set-Code Missing or Mismatching
The candidates whose set-codes of AIBE XIV were either missing or mismatched on their answer scripts of AIBE XIV were declared to be 'disqualified' on February 7, 2020 according to the decision of the monitoring committee of AIBE. On March 18, 2020, the AIBE asked these students to verify their set-codes and answer sheets. However, the process could not be completed due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
The BCI has asked these specific candidates with missing/ mismatched set-codes to apply for AIBE 2020. They will apply as a fresh candidate and will also have to pay the AIBE XIV application fees as applicable for AIBE 2020. The application fee of AIBE 2020 has been given below for the reference of candidates.

Status for Candidates Present/ Absent at the 'Cancelled Test Centres'
The BCI cancelled 9 exam centres after conducting AIBE XIV on September 15, 2020 and the candidates who had appeared for the examination at those centres were disqualified and their results were withheld. However, the status for those candidates who did not appear and were marked absent at these test centres was not decided/ disclosed. According to the official notification, the candidates who were marked present at these cancelled centres for AIBE XIV need not apply as fresh candidates and their AIBE XV admit card will be issued. On the other hand, the candidates who were marked absent for the exam will have to apply again as a new user and they will be required to pay the application fee to appear for AIBE 2020 as well.
