The Ph.D examination 2016 of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS ) is scheduled to be held on January 16, 2016. The examination is conducted for taking admissions to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme.

All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are a group of autonomous public medical colleges of higher education. It offers various undergraduate, post-graduate and Ph.D courses in the field of medical sciences.

Paper pattern:

The examination will consist of 80 marks and the duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
The paper will consist of 50 theory based Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and 30 clinical/practical/lab based Short Answer Questions (SAQs)/MCQs.
The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and 1/3 marks will be deducted for each incorrect question in the MCQ section.
There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
