The National Law University, Delhi or the NLU, Delhi has decided to waive off the uploading of reserved category documents during the submission of AILET 2020 application form. Keeping in the mind the spread of the deadly coronavirus pandemic, NLU has decided to provide relaxation to the aspirants falling under the reserved categories. They can now complete the entire online application process without uploading the caste/category documents. However, the students have to produce the eligibility and reserved category documents in the original and self-attested form during the time of seat allotment through the counselling process of AILET 2020.

In a notification released by NLU Delhi on 28th April 2020, it implied that candidates are facing difficulties in obtaining caste/category certificates. The step to waive off the reserved category document was taken by NLU Delhi keeping in account the nation-wide lockdown amid the Coronavirus outbreak.

The prestigious law university also notified that the last date to fill the application form has been extended until 15th May 2020 due to the unforeseen circumstances aroused by COVID-19. It states that the AILET 2020 exam date has been postponed indefinitely and the fresh schedule will be shared with the aspirants separately.
