National Fire Service College in Nagpur is all set to conduct the 43rd Entrance Exam for the Fire Sub Officer course, all over India on 13th of October, 2019. The application process will come to an end on 29 September 2019 so interested students must apply soon. The sub-officer course is 33 weeks long that can be divided into two major categories - Training at Regional Centres for 21 weeks and practicals for 12 weeks at major fire service centres of the country.

The entrance exam will include Multiple Choice Questions divided into 4 sections-Science, Mathematics, General Knowledge and English. The paper will be in two languages - English and Hindi. The exam centres are Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai and Nagpur. Other details of the examination i.e venue and time of examination will be sent to the registered email ID of the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for Fire Sub Officer Exam 2019

Following is the eligibility criteria to apply for the Fire Sub Officer Exam 2019:

  • Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or any equivalent diploma.
  • The age of applicants should be between 18 to 25 years.
  • Candidates should be able to speak, write and read English and Hindi.
  • Applicants in their final year of a degree can apply only if their result is dated before 31st of August.

Application Form for Fire Sub Officer Exam 2019

Take a look at the steps given below regarding the application form for Fire Sub Office Exam 2019:

  • Visit the official website of National Fire Service College and look for the notification of Sub-officer exam.
  • After clicking on the notification, candidates will be redirected to the application portal where students have to enter in, all the personal and academic details.
  • To successfully submit the application, a fee has to be paid. The amount to be paid is Rs. 100 for General and OBC category applicants and Rs. 25 for SC/ST applicants.
  • On successful payment of fee, candidates can download their application form and wait for the admit card notification.

Selection Process for Fire Sub Officer Exam 2019

There are 30 seats for the fire sub-officer course at National Fire Service College and candidates are selected only on the basis of the entrance exam. Candidates must prepare well in order to score well in the entrance exam to increase their chances of selection. Interested students can apply soon.
