Allahabad University Gears Up for NAAC Accreditation
A team from NAAC will be visiting the University of Allahabad from March 26th March 2019. The NAAC team will visit the Allahabad University for three days for the inspection of various departments and facilities on the campus.
For the past decade, Allahabad University (AU) has not been accreditated by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council). The long-awaited NAAC accreditation will now be awarded to AU in the coming days. NAAC team will be visiting the Allahabad University Campus from March 26th to March 28th 2019. They will be visiting the various department and facilities on the campus.
Allahabad University’s previous ranking by NAAC was a B++ which awarded to them in the year 2003. This ranking lasted for the next five years and expired in the year 2008. Allahabad University has been trying to get NAAC authorities to visit their campus ever since then. However, the University authorities had failed to comply with all the criteria required for receiving the NAAC accreditation.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council have not revealed some of the important information like the Nomenclature. The university has also been not informed about the number of members that will be visiting for the inspection. The team will visit the campus for three days before ending their inspection on 28th March 2019.

However, sources have claimed that there are a total of four to five members in the investigation team along with a chairman. They will be checking up all the departments of the university along with the four faculties of Allahabad University as well as surveying all the facilities provided by them.
