Alumni of NIT Srinagar Meet Delhi Chapter
The inauguration of the Delhi Chapter will take place on September 17, 2016, at PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
National Institute of Technology, Srinagar has taken a decision to establish the Delhi Chapter of alumni connect. The decision was made after the second alumni meet which was held in the month of May. The inauguration of the Delhi Chapter will take place on September 17, 2016, at PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The basic idea is to promote a platform for the geographically disbursed alumni to meet and discuss the alma matters.

The Director of NIT Srinagar, Mr. Rajat Gupta said that the alumni of the institute have extended their support to fresh graduates by providing training, placements and career counselling to them.
The Chairman of Delhi Chapter,Mr. Deepak Bhasin said that the alumni would also showcase their talent during the cultural evening that will be organised thereafter. The membership of the alumni is steadily growing, and they are also maintaining a strong database of the same, with the active support of the institution.

The first alumni meet was organised in May 2015. The pass outs of the first batch of 1985 met at the institute. A total number of 300 alumni were present on the occasion and donated an ambulance and pledged monies for scholarships. They also assured that they would teach students on life and learning skills.
