Amity Law School Loses Affiliation from GGSIPU
- Amity Law School is no longer affiliated to the leading Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU).
- BA (LLB) candidates cannot opt for the college basis their IPU CET Law scores for admissions 2018.
Amity Law School has lost its affiliation to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) following which the BA LLB (Hons) aspirants will not be able to secure a seat in the Amity Law School on the basis of IPU CET Law exam. The decision regarding the same has been taken by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBSF).
According to the notification issued, Amity Law School will not participate in the admission and as well as the counselling process for IP University law admissions, the process for which commenced on 11th June 2018.

The Ritnand Balved Education Foundation has not given any reason for the de-affiliation of the law school, however, they were contemplating the same for a year. The current students of the Amity Law School are unhappy with the decision and are of the view that the de-affiliation is due to the series of events that took place in the college that ultimately led to a change in the faculty and higher authorities while disturbing the smooth functioning of the law school.

Students of the Amity Law School are also dissatisfied with the college’s attendance norms and regulations due to which many students had also filed cases against the college. The decision of de-affiliation has left many students wondering about their future.
