AMU Launches Special Portal for Internship and Jobs
- The Training and Placement Office of Aligarh Muslim University launched a special portal or website, i.e. ‘myinternetguru’ to help the students of varsity in finding internships and jobs.
- Prof. M.M. Sufiyana Beg, Principal of Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University launched the website in the presence of Mr. Omar S. Peerzada, Public Relations Officer, AMU on May 2, 2017.
- Engineering students of Aligarh Muslim University played a significant role in creating the website and upgrading its functionality to suit the needs of the user base.
The Training and Placement Office of Aligarh Muslim University launched a special portal or website, i.e. ‘myinternetguru’ to help the students of varsity in finding internships and jobs. It is the first of its kind initiative launched by the varsity. Students belonging to various streams can find internships and jobs through this portal.
The new website witnessed success within hours of its launch. Noida and Delhi-based Aptron Technologies and Designer Solutions visited the varsity to hire students for Petrochemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and IT jobs.

Engineering students of Aligarh Muslim University played a significant role in creating the website. The students who took part in this noble initiative are: -

- Mr. Saif Wakeel
On this occasion, Prof. M.M Sufiyana Beg motivated the students to register themselves on the new portal and advised the students to publicize the website among the other students of the varsity. The new website will provide maximum benefit to students and will assure placement for the all the registered students.

Mr. Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer of Aligarh Muslim University indicated that the website acts as a gateway for students to find their dream job. The students will also get a chance to prove their talent in the varsity.
Some of the professors who also took part in the creation of the website will mentor the students in completing formalities for the internship.
