Andhra Loyola College Organises a Flash Mob and Street Play on Road Safety
The Visual Communication Department performed a flash mob at Benz Circle and created awareness about road safety and traffic rules.
The Visual Communication Department of Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada organised a seminar on September 7, 2016, at college premises as a part of its campaign ‘TRA'WELL’ to promote awareness on road safety. The Deputy Commissioner of Police,Mr. TK Rana addressed the students and spoke about traffic rules and road safety. Vice Principal of the UG wing, S Melchior appreciated the initiative taken by the Department.

On this occasion, the students of the Visual Communication Department performed a flash mob at Benz Circle and created awareness about road safety and traffic rules. Lots of people gathered near Benz Circle to watch the performance of the students. Later, the students performed a street play regarding violation of traffic rules and its consequences. Through the play, the students promoted awareness on the use of a helmet while riding a bike.

Assistant Commissioner of Police,Mr. Shravan appreciated the students and motivated them to take up more social oriented activities.
The Department of Visual Communication is also known as VISCOM which conducts various social activities on and off the campus.
