Andhra University to Launch B.Tech Course for Naval Officers
Andhra University is set to introduce a new Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture B.Tech programme for the personnel of the Indian Navy. The programme will start from 2019-20 academic session.
The Andhra University is all set to launch a new B.Tech programme for the Naval Officers of India. The Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture B.Tech course will soon be active for the academic year 2019-20 for the aspirants who are among the Navy personnel. The decision was taken at a meeting which was headed by Prof G Nageswara Rao, Vice-Chancellor, Andhra University. The offered course will be under the Andhra University College of Engineering’s - Department of Marine Engineering.

The meeting focused mainly on admission into 26 diploma courses on technical trades and admission of personnel to the postgraduate diploma in management courses. This meeting also offered provision for the College of Air Warfare Officers to take admission into Master of Arts in Strategic Studies and Political Science.
