Andhra University Collaborates with Sweden-Based Institute to Offer B.Tech CSE Course
- Students enrolled in B.Tech CSE course offered by Andhra University will study for three years at AU and one year at Blekinge Institute of Technology.
Andhra University (AU) has collaborated with Sweden-based Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH) to offer four-year B.Tech course in Computer Science Engineering (CSE). AU and BTH is already offering four-year B.Tech course in ECE and Mechanical Engineering since 2016.
As a part of the collaboration, students enrolled in B.Tech CSE course offered by Andhra University will study for three years at AU and one year at Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden. After the successful completion of the course, AU will award B.Tech degree while BTH will award BS (Bachelor of Science) in Computer Science and Software Engineering.

Blekinge Institute of Technology has been ranked as the fifth best institute in the world for Software Engineering. Director of Indian Initiatives of BTH, Gurudutt Velpula visited Andhra University on July 17, 2018, as a part of the commencement of the new batch. He interacted with the students and enlightened them about the advantages of pursuing B.Tech course offered by AU and BTH.

In the recent years, Andhra University has collaborated with popular international universities to launch new courses, facilitate student-exchange programmes etc. The varsity is also planning to hire foreign professors. The varsity has autonomy to hire foreign faculty and enrol international students.
Apart from such initiatives, Andhra University has been initiating various certificate courses, short-term and diploma courses.
