Anjuman-I-Islam's Rahmani Students Clear Science Olympiad

Sixteen students of Anjuman-I-Islam's Rahmani 30 have cleared the International Science Olympiads, 2015. This group of students is being coached for IIT-JEE at Anjuman's CST campus

"A total of 26 boys appeared for the Science Olympiads, of which 16 qualified. This is a spectacular success, given that it is our first batch of students who will appear for IIT exams in April this year," said Anjuman-I-Islam president, Dr Zahir Kazi, at the felicitation programme of the boys on Friday.

It is jointly run by Anjuman-I-Islam and Patna-based coaching initiative Rahmani 30 with initial financial backing from city-based Memon Chamber of Commerce.

The first batch of their students comprises 28 Muslim IIT aspirants and they are given the coaching for free. A second batch of 30 students has also joined the coaching.

"It is said that many doors are shut to Muslims, but, my dear children, there are still many doors open for you. You just have to grab the opportunities, work hard and prove that you can also excel if provided right guidance," said senior cleric and founder of Rahmani 30 Maulana Wali Rahmani.

Rahmani's son Fahad, who participates and helps in the running of different centres of Rahmani 30 in the country, said that the boys at Rahmani 30 in Anjuman-I-Islam has outdone themselves and has outshone the students from other centres of Rahmani 30 too.

"This year, 96 Muslim students being coached by Rahmani 30 have cleared the International Science Olympiad. This shows a positive change in the young generation of Indian Muslims," added Fahad.
